JOSEPH C. PAVELICH

Lady Justice holding scales of justice

Nature of Practice

Joe began practicing in 2006 at Mellon & Spies in Iowa City following his graduation from the University of Iowa College of Law. Now a partner with Spies & Pavelich, Joe’s cases include divorce, unmarried child custody, and modification cases and appeals; child in need of assistance and juvenile delinquency; and adoption.

Joe works with people throughout Eastern Iowa at various stages of divorce and child custody matters. Divorce and custody cases can be emotionally fraught experiences, and Joe has worked throughout his career to ensure his clients have the information they need to determine when settlement is in their favor, or when a trial is necessary. Joe’s wide range of experience can help his clients evaluate their potential claims to make their strongest arguments in mediation, settlement conferences or at court.

The attorneys of Spies & Pavelich serve clients in Iowa City, Iowa and throughout Johnson County and Eastern Iowa.
